About Tarangire
Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s hidden safari gems, best known for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During the dry season, the river attracts large numbers of wildlife, creating excellent game-viewing opportunities.
The park offers a quieter, more intimate safari experience compared to larger parks, with sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. Its beautiful landscapes and dramatic baobabs make Tarangire a favorite for photographers and nature lovers.
